Position Summary

The Power Platform Engineer builds low-code applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform and related tools. Beyond development, the engineer leads testing and validation for assigned functional areas. This role ensures a balance between efficient custom app and automation delivery and maintaining high-quality, reliable solutions.

Note: This position is contingent on a future contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and maintain scalable, high-quality apps and automations
  • Test apps and flows to ensure stability
  • Collaborate with the Development team and stakeholders
  • Adhere to industry best practices and standards
  • Identify cross-app or cross flow impacts from changes
  • Balance user requirements with platform limitations
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and organizational policies
  • Anticipate and address potential automation or system conflicts

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of full-time work experience developing systems in Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain U.S. SECRET clearance
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship

  • Ability to liaise between the Government, Military, and Contractor Representatives, and Organizations
  • Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

  • Location: Onsite office environment
  • Physical demands: Sedentary work with exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Walking and standing are often necessary in carrying out job duties
  • Visual requirements: Visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; analyzing code
  • Interaction: Direct interaction with shipboard personnel, planners, and shipbuilder teams

Security Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
