About the Role
We are looking for a SR DATA ENGINEER (AZURE) to participate in a high-complexity enterprise project focused on data migration and transformation towards Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse.
The position will have direct interaction with international stakeholders, so we are seeking people with high autonomy, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to contribute technically from day one.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Work with Azure SQL and T-SQL for staging, transformation, cleaning and data preparation
- Analyze and transform complex mapping matrices with 400+ fields per entity
- Migrate data towards Dynamics 365 / Dataverse
- Implement loads via Dataverse Web API, including upserts, alternate keys and batch requests
- Integrate and extract information from Salesforce via APIs
- Implement data reconciliation and validation processes between source and destination
- Resolve errors, retries and quality issues during migrations
- Work with Azure DevOps to manage activities and workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT or Data Migration
- Advanced hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
- Mastery of Azure SQL and T-SQL
- Proven experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, ideally in D365 Customer Service migration projects
- Experience with Dataverse Web API, upsert, alternate keys, batch requests and error handling
- Experience consuming Salesforce APIs
- Experience working with complex data mappings and large volumes of information
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- English C1/C2 conversational and written
