Senior ERP consultant finance

About the role

As a senior ERP Consultant Finance, you combine finance with technology. You dive into customers' financial processes, discover where things can work smarter or more efficiently, and translate those insights into ERP solutions that work logically for the people using them. From analysis and configuration to testing, training and go-live: you work through different phases of an ERP implementation and see your ideas land in practice.

If you already have experience with finance and ERP but not yet with every component of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, that need not be a barrier. A strong foundation, analytical insight and the drive to grow further are just as important.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse financial processes and discover together with customers where ERP processes can support them more simply, smartly or efficiently
• Translate finance needs into functional ERP solutions, including within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Configure financial modules and relevant add-ons so the solution fits the customer's processes and day-to-day operations
• Test and validate solutions to ensure financial processes work correctly and logically together
• Guide customers through the transition to their new way of working, from preparation through ERP implementation to go-live
• Ensure users understand how to use the solution in their daily work through training and support of key-users
• Recognise optimisations after implementation and think through ways to further improve financial processes
• Share knowledge with colleagues and customers and refine solutions further, so each project yields new insights

What you bring

• A solid first experience within finance, accounting, ERP consultancy or ERP implementations forms a good foundation for this role
• Experience with an ERP system and financial business processes helps make quick connections between business questions, figures and technology
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV is a strong asset, though relevant experience with another ERP platform can also be an interesting foundation. Internally, it has been explicitly examined whether candidates with implementation experience in another ERP package could be trained further within Business Central
• An analytical eye helps you understand financial processes and translate customer questions into practical, functional solutions
• Experience as a key-user or finance professional with Business Central is also relevant when combined with process analysis and insight into ERP implementations. Internally, this background has already been discussed as a potentially interesting step towards consultancy
• A clear and honest communication style makes complex processes understandable to different stakeholders
• Initiative, curiosity and ownership ensure you take independent steps and know when collaboration strengthens a solution
• A desire to grow further in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ERP consultancy fits an environment where colleagues share knowledge and learn from each other
