About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision specialist with strong expertise in the Microsoft Cloud environment. This is not a pure user support role. We need someone who understands ERP processes, can analyze complex issues, and independently handle technical relationships between ERP, infrastructure, interfaces, and cloud.

Responsibilities

Microsoft Dynamics NAV / ERP

• Support and technical maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016
• Analysis and qualification of complex ERP tickets, particularly critical incidents
• Structured capture of error details:
• Who is affected?
• Where does the problem occur?
• What inputs were made?
• What result was expected?
• What behavior actually occurs?
• Distinction between errors, user questions, and new requirements
• Analysis of orders, documents, inventory levels, and posting transactions
• Management of users, roles, and permissions
• Understanding of NAV line item principles and central NAV standard processes
• Error analysis for interfaces between NAV and connected systems, particularly warehouse management systems
• Support for changes, customizations, and optimizations

Microsoft Cloud

• Administration and further development of Microsoft Azure environments
• Support of Azure Virtual Machines, storage, backup, and network services
• Microsoft Entra ID and identity management
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Conditional Access, MFA, and role and permission concepts
• Automation of administrative tasks with PowerShell
• Support for cloud migrations and hybrid environments
• Technical analysis of problems between on-premises systems and cloud services

Requirements

Essential qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV / ERP field
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision, ideally NAV 2016
• German language skills at minimum C1 level
• Solid understanding of:
• Order processing
• Warehouse and goods movements
• Documents
• Postings and line items
• Roles and permissions
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL
• Experience with ERP interfaces and system integrations
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune
• Good PowerShell skills
• Experience in 2nd-level and ideally 3rd-level support
• Structured error analysis and very good documentation
• Independent and solution-oriented working approach
