Dynamics 365 Technical Lead

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) — The first two months require 4 days a week in office; after that, once a week.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, specifically the Dynamics 365 Customer Service module
• Provide demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage
• Aid in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Design and develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and C#
• Troubleshoot and remediate technical issues in Dynamics 365; document solutions and work with system administrators and IT resources to implement fixes
• Maintain strong knowledge of Microsoft's licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
• Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's use at VDOT
• Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage
• Prepare mockups and prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs
• Function as a liaison between IT and business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution
• Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives
• Contribute to improving processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program
• Participate in on-call duties as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• D365 Technical Lead experience: 5 years
• Creating and managing solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Service: 8 years
• Customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows and BPFs in D365: 8 years
• Custom development using .NET, JavaScript and C#: 5 years
• Power Platform and Dataverse experience: 3 years
• Using standard and premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate: 3 years

Desired Skills

• DevOps in Power Platform/D365 Environments: 2 years
• Data Integrations and Migrations using ADF and SSIS Packages: 5 years
• Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
