You work primarily with Copilot Studio and Power Automate, connecting agents and workflows with data sources, APIs and existing systems. You not only build the solutions, but also help determine how we develop, test, publish and manage within Power Platform. Much of that is still open, and that is exactly where you make the difference.

You will build this role in a new AI team within an organization of over 4,000 colleagues.

Responsibilities

Not every agent or automation that emerges in the business needs to be developed centrally. Solutions that need to be handled centrally due to their complexity, reach or impact, you build and manage. You also support colleagues who build themselves and set up the technical infrastructure they need for this.

• Design, build, test, publish and manage AI-agents and workflows in Copilot Studio and Power Automate
• Further develop application lifecycle management (ALM) within Power Platform: solutions, separate development, test and production environments and deployment pipelines
• Connect agents and workflows with data sources, APIs and existing systems
• Develop promising experiments from the business into reliable and manageable solutions
• Together with involved IT colleagues, technically set up agreed frameworks for environments, allowed connections, roles, rights and publication
• Guide colleagues who build agents and automations themselves: contribute to the setup, help when they get stuck and indicate when something should be handled centrally
• Develop reusable components and patterns and solve technical problems
• Signal when a different technical route is better and coordinate this with the Solution Architect and Generative AI Engineer

The technical route or architecture of an initiative is not determined by you alone; we make this decision together. Within the Power Platform route, you are the one who knows how we professionally develop, roll out and manage a solution.

Position Details

You join the AI team at Strukton, which we are building under the Head of AI. Besides you, a Generative AI Engineer will join for the pro-code route: solutions that require customization. You are the specialist for the low-code route: agents and workflows within Power Platform. We determine together with the Solution Architect which route best fits an initiative.

You work closely with IT colleagues in the areas of Data & Integrations, Architecture, Cloud, Security & Infra and the M365 team. In the Netherlands, over 40 IT professionals work on the systems, applications, data and infrastructure that support the operation. At Strukton, IT is a partner of the business.

The solutions you work on help colleagues find information faster, reduce manual steps and arrange work processes more intelligently within an organization that builds sustainable infrastructure at home and abroad.

Requirements

You are technically strong and get energy from solutions that are actually used. You ask follow-up questions to understand what colleagues really need and translate that into a working agent or automation. You think beyond a first demonstration: you know what is needed to bring a solution into production in a controlled way and then maintain it.

You explain technical choices in an understandable way, help colleagues who are just starting out and know when you need to involve other expertise.

Essential qualifications:

• HBO level work and thinking
• Several years of hands-on experience developing and managing Power Platform solutions, especially Power Automate
• Experience with ALM within Power Platform: solutions, environments, deployment pipelines, connection references and environment variables
• Experience with connectors, roles and rights
• Knowledge of APIs and data integrations
• Interest in AI-agents and generative AI and the motivation to develop further in this area

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Dataverse, custom connectors, identity solutions or Azure
• You do not need to be a specialist in every area. However, we expect you to have already built Power Platform solutions that go beyond an experiment or demonstration. You will develop further in AI-agents and workflow automation based on this foundation.
