About the role

As a Freelance Business Applications Consultant | Business Central, you play a temporary role in Studibo's ongoing digitalisation. You are responsible for managing and further developing our business applications and translate the organisation's needs into smart digital solutions. You work primarily for the Dutch labels and are willing to work regularly from our office in Merelbeke (Belgium).

Responsibilities

• Manage, implement and optimise Microsoft Business Central
• Coordinate the rollout of Business Central across our different labels
• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
• Develop automations, workflows and apps using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI) and OutSystems
• Develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
• Serve as a point of contact for users, improvements and incidents
• Collaborate with external partners for further development, integrations and support
• Document processes, configurations and best practices
• Actively contribute to the digital roadmap and optimisation of business processes
• Support change management and training of end users

The role combines implementation, digitalisation and functional application management. You report to the Digital Transformation Manager in Merelbeke (Belgium).

Requirements

We look first and foremost at who you are as a person. Additionally, we consider the following qualities important:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Business Central, both functional and in application management
• Experience or affinity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or OutSystems
• You are analytical, communicatively strong and able to translate business needs into smart digital solutions
• You work independently, in a structured manner and easily switch between operational and strategic issues

Contract details

• Contract type: Freelance
• Duration: Minimum 5 months (starting immediately or by agreement until February 2027), with possibility of extension
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Rate: €75–90 per hour
• Work location: Hybrid (partly remote, partly on site)
• Start: ASAP
