Start with comparable work
Two adverts with the same title can describe different responsibilities. Compare the product, seniority, industry, location, and delivery scope before comparing pay.
Read the sample
D365 Market publishes advertised-pay ranges from usable active job records. The data does not show accepted offers or every role in the market. Jobs without stated pay cannot contribute.
Check the calculation
A band midpoint is a summary of an advert. Annualised contract rates use working-time assumptions and exclude differences in leave, benefits, expenses, and gaps between work.
Prepare a useful pay discussion
Write down the duties you can own and the evidence behind them. Compare the whole offer, including working hours, travel, support, and benefits. Ask the employer to explain unclear terms.
