What do UK Dynamics 365 jobs pay?
IT Jobs Watch counted 1,151 UK permanent adverts that cited Dynamics 365 and quoted a salary in the six months to 5 November 2026. The median was £65,000. A quarter paid £50,000 or less, and a quarter paid £84,215 or more. These are advertised salaries. They tell you what employers offer when they post a job. They do not tell you what people in post earn, and no official Dynamics 365 pay rate exists.
The figure has held steady. The same IT Jobs Watch page shows a £65,000 median for the same six months of 2025, so permanent pay has not moved much in a year. Demand moved more than pay did: the page lists 1,539 permanent jobs citing Dynamics 365 in the latest period, against 746 a year earlier.
How much does the job title change pay?
Title matters more than the product name. Adverts titled Dynamics 365 Architect had a £96,250 median, and even the lower quartile sat at £90,000. Dynamics 365 Consultant adverts had a median just under £70,000, and Dynamics 365 Developer adverts sat at £62,500. Adverts citing the older Dynamics CRM name paid about the same as Dynamics 365 overall, at a £62,500 median.
Power Platform roles pay a little less at the same level. Power Platform Consultant adverts had a £65,000 median, and Power Platform Developer adverts had £55,000, with a narrow band between £50,000 and £65,000. In my experience the gap closes when a Power Platform person can also configure the Dynamics 365 apps built on Dataverse, because clients then treat them as a Dynamics consultant.
Does London pay more?
Yes, by a clear margin. On the IT Jobs Watch Dynamics 365 page read for the six months to 4 November 2026, London adverts had a £75,000 median, while the UK excluding London sat at £60,000. That £15,000 gap is bigger than the gap between a consultant and a developer title. Most Dynamics work is now hybrid or remote, so check where the employer is based as well as where you would sit. A London partner hiring a remote consultant in the north may still pay to its London band.
Permanent salary or contract day rate?
Contractors are a large part of the UK Dynamics market. IT Jobs Watch shows a median of £509 a day for contracts citing Dynamics 365 in the six months to 5 November 2026, down from £525 in the same period of 2025. Consultant titles had a £550 median, architect titles £575, and developer titles £463. Outside London the Dynamics 365 median was £475.
Do not multiply a day rate by 260 and compare it with a salary. Contractors pay for gaps between roles, holidays, pensions, training and their own certifications. Most people move to contracting after several full projects, when they can walk into a go-live without supervision.

What you need
- Product depthPay follows the product you can deliver. Finance and operations work and Customer Engagement apps each have their own skills, and employers hire for one side.
- Project deliveryThe higher bands go to people who have taken a project through design, build, testing and go-live. Show clients and outcomes on your CV.
- Microsoft certificationPartners value certifications because they count toward their Microsoft standing. Check the current exam list before you book, since Microsoft rebuilt the catalog in 2026.
- Client-facing skillsConsultant and architect titles pay more than developer titles partly because they run workshops and own design decisions in front of clients.
