Choose a first area
Start with the tasks that interest you: business processes, coding, problem solving, testing, or teaching. Read two related role guides.
Then choose a product context. Business Central, Finance, and customer-facing apps have different learning needs.
You do not need to settle your whole career now. Choose one route you can investigate through a small exercise.
Roles worth checking
Junior consulting, application support, testing, and graduate development roles can offer structured entry. Some employers also provide apprenticeships or training programmes.
Availability varies by country and employer. Read current vacancies and ask how training, supervision, and project work fit together.
A role labelled junior may still ask for experience. Check the actual duties before ruling yourself in or out.
Learn and practise together
Use current learning material to understand a small topic, then apply it. A process diagram or test plan can be useful before you have environment access.
For code or configuration work, confirm the product access and any costs first. Use invented data in personal projects.
Keep the scope small enough to finish. One clear example with tests and lessons gives you something concrete to discuss.
Show readiness honestly
Separate work experience, study, and practice projects on your CV. Describe what you built or designed and what you could not test.
Explain how you approached a problem, found information, and used feedback. Employers need to understand how you learn and ask for help.
Do not claim client delivery from a training exercise. Clear limits help an employer judge the support you need.

Choose a supportive first job
Ask who reviews your work, what the first assignment involves, and how much learning time is available. Request a concrete example of junior development.
Also check pay, travel, working hours, and any training repayment terms. Get unclear offer details answered before accepting.
