Mid-Level Microsoft Power Platform Developer

ENDICTUS is seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support a Department of Defense customer in San Diego, California. The Developer will design, develop, automate, and maintain business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform within a Microsoft 365 enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will work directly with Government stakeholders to analyze business processes, develop Power Apps and automated workflows, create Power BI dashboards and reports, integrate Microsoft 365 services, and provide training and technical documentation.
This position requires a hands-on developer who can independently take business requirements from analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and translate requirements into scalable automated solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain production-ready applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and Business Process Flows), Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Develop automated workflows and applications that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Design and implement ticketing, workflow, and business-process management solutions.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and visualizations that provide actionable information to leadership and operational users.
- Develop and execute system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Support deployment of solutions across development, test, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, integration, and reporting issues.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise governance, security, environment-management, Data Loss Prevention, naming, and application lifecycle management standards.
- Develop user guides, administrator guides, SOPs, technical design documentation, data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and deliver end-user and administrator training, including train-the-trainer sessions.
- Track development activities, milestones, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
- Work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solutions, and support continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Demonstrated experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience developing both Canvas and Model-Driven applications.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience developing automated workflows and business-process solutions.
- Experience building production-grade applications in a Microsoft 365 enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of application lifecycle management, solution packaging, environment management, security roles, and Power Platform governance.
- Experience creating Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Experience developing and delivering user training.
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must successfully complete all required Government background investigation, onboarding, and access requirements.
Microsoft Certification Requirement
Candidates must possess at least one current Microsoft Power Platform certification, such as:
- PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
- PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
- PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
- Equivalent or successor Microsoft Power Platform certification acceptable to the customer
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, military healthcare, or another Federal Government environment.
- Experience developing solutions in a governed DoD Microsoft 365 environment.
- Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence governance practices.
- Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with process improvement, workflow analysis, requirements elicitation, or business-process reengineering.
- Experience supporting executive-level dashboards and operational reporting.
