Financial Analyst- Dynamics 365

Inotiv is seeking a self-motivated, analytically minded Financial Analyst to support the FP&A Controller for three Discovery and Translational Sciences operational sites located in Boulder, CO, Nashville, TN, and St Louis, MO. This role will be based in the St. Louis, MO (or Boulder, CO) office and will provide remote support to the other two sites. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in accounting and/or finance and be able to travel on an as-needed basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Controller to create financial annual operating plans for
each fiscal year
- Support the Finance Controller to create forecasts for the operations,
perform variance analysis, and provide bridges to explain variances and changes in forecast
- Responsible for tracking capital expenditures and collaborating with Site
Directors and Facilities Leader to forecast CapEx cashflows
- Manage Construction in Progress account and serve as the liaison with
Inotiv’s Accounting team on asset capitalization and disposals
- Serve as on-site Finance point of contact for the Boulder, CO site and drive
continuous process improvement in all aspects of the business
- Attend to government, SoX, and financial statement audits as applicable to
each of the sites
- Support Discovery and Translational Sciences leadership in Strategic Growth
Initiatives with business case analysis and long range planning targets
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to understand, summarize, and communicate financial information,
including financial analysis, assumptions, and outcomes
- Comfort with obtaining, reconciling, and analyzing data to be used for
business decisions
- Proficient in utilizing Excel for data analysis and graphic depiction of
business results, trends, and forecasts
- Experience in life sciences or a contract research organization is a plus,
but not required
- Interact with clients, other employees, and the community in a professional
manner
- Effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures
- Maintain confidential information
- Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in the fields of accounting and/or finance
- 3+ years of related experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and D365 ERP accounting system is a
must
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred, but
not required
Physical Activity and Working Conditions
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior office
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- The noise level is usually moderate
- Requires moderate physical activity with frequent talking, standing, walking
and repetitive movement of hands and fingers, reaching and lifting 10 -20 pounds.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities. The pay range will be between $95,000 - $115,000 per year. Benefits include health and dental coverage, short- and long-term disability, paid time off, paid paternity leave, etc. This role will be posted until filled.
