D365 Business Central Functional Consultant / ERP Lead – Manufacturing
Agrocorp InternationalWe are establishing a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on plant-based protein production and are implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) as our core ERP platform. We are seeking an experienced Senior D365 Business Central Functional Consultant / ERP Lead to support and lead the functional implementation, optimisation and ongoing development of our ERP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly across Manufacturing, Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, Procurement and Supply Chain, together with experience managing full-cycle ERP implementation projects. This role will work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Management, system integrators and external vendors to ensure successful ERP implementation and adoption across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead and support end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-go-live support. Conduct business requirements gathering, process reviews, workshops and gap-fit analysis. Translate operational and business requirements into effective Business Central configurations. Configure and optimise Business Central modules covering: Manufacturing Production Planning MRP / MPS Production Orders BOMs and Routings Work Centres and Machine Centres Capacity Planning Inventory and Item Tracking Warehouse Operations Procurement and Purchasing Sales Finance Integration Manufacturing Costing Support production processes including material consumption, output posting, standard costing, production variances and inventory movements. Ensure ERP processes reflect actual manufacturing workflows from raw material receiving through production, quality, packing, warehousing and finished goods dispatch. Support integration between Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales and Finance. Prepare functional design documents, process flows, SOPs, training materials and user documentation. Lead or support UAT, testing, issue resolution and system deployment. Coordinate with system integrators, consultants, developers and other external vendors. Support ERP data migration, including items, vendors, customers, BOMs, routings, opening balances and other master data. Support integrations with manufacturing and business systems such as MES, SCADA, WMS, QC/LIMS and other third-party applications, where required. Develop or support Power BI dashboards and management reporting. Conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions. Act as a key internal ERP subject matter expert during plant commissioning and system go-live. Monitor system performance and usage after go-live and recommend continuous improvements. Lead ERP-related meetings, track project risks, issues, timelines and action items. Provide functional guidance to internal users and junior team members where applicable. Requirements Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 7 years of relevant ERP / Microsoft Dynamics functional consulting experience. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Proven experience delivering or supporting end-to-end ERP implementation projects. Strong experience in Business Central Manufacturing, including: Production Orders BOMs Routings Work Centres / Machine Centres MRP / MPS Capacity Planning Manufacturing Costing Good functional knowledge of: Inventory Warehouse Procurement Sales Finance integration Experience in requirements gathering, gap-fit analysis, configuration, testing, UAT, training and go-live. Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate operational requirements into ERP solutions. Experience working with functional and technical consultants, system integrators and business stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple ERP-related priorities.
