About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst in Project Accounting to join our CIMA+ finance team.
The ideal person for this role stands out for their results-oriented approach and their ability to understand and respond to client needs. Proactive and autonomous, they thrive in an environment that allows them to fully exercise their judgment and leadership.
We offer a hybrid work arrangement (2 days/week in the office), giving you the possibility to work remotely from home and from our CIMA+ offices in Quebec (Montreal, Laval, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, etc.)
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Project Accountant, the main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Perform testing and validation activities for Finance & Operations (F&O) D365
- Provide user support via the service desk
- Conduct data analysis based on business needs
- Manage and maintain system data for users
- Design, optimize and develop advanced Excel files
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Produce and interpret data analyses to support decision-making
- Participate in maintaining training documentation
- Participate in integrating acquisitions within systems
- Contribute to implementation phases, including testing and validations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, administration or related field relevant to the position, combined with 5 or more years of experience in this type of role, or a DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales) combined with more than 8 years of experience
- Bilingualism: mastery of French and English is essential for this position to ensure smooth interactions with our diverse stakeholders, guarantee clear communication, and complete our various projects at the national level
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- ERP system experience
- Integrity, team spirit, commitment to excellence
Assets:
- Experience in the engineering consulting or project accounting sector
- Knowledge of D365
